The Tecoma Village Action Group welcomes new residents and traders to our beautiful township in the Dandenong Ranges. Tecoma is a special place with the Sherbrooke National Park in the north and Birds Land Reserve in the south.
To assist new residents, here are some links that will help you find local schools; sporting and other activity groups; shops and other businesses; and a range of interesting facts about this area.

Burrinja Cultural Centre
Located in Glenfern Road Upwey, Burrinja provides the Community with a place to enjoy the Arts, in its many forms. From music in the cafe to school performances in the main theatre there is a wide range of activities always on the go at Burrinja. Check out What's On
UTCRASH - Upwey Tecoma Community Recreation And Sporting Hub
An association of community groups and clubs brought together in the interests of developing a specialised building, and other general community facilities at the site. The aim is to accommodate the varied needs of the member groups in a mutually advantageous facility. We are delighted to have 23 Groups and Clubs working co-operatively towards this exciting common goal.

There are a number of sporting clubs in Tecoma and neighbouring townships. This is not an exhaustive list, just a sample.
Upwey-Tecoma Football Netball Club: The Club was formed in 1946 and competed in the Mountain District Football Association until 1966 when the MDFA amalgamated with the Yarra Valley Football Leagueto form the Yarra Valley-Mountain District Football and Netball League (YVMDFNL).
Paragon Martial Arts: Remember being six years old and wishing you had superpowers? I sure do. Now imagine if your child believed that they really did have superpowers! We teach kids how to be real Superheroes!
Tecoma Kendo: Kendo developed as a method for samurai to practice and hone their skill with the sword. These days kendo is a physically and mentally challenging activity that combines strong martial arts values
